Join us Monday,
October 16 at 1:00-3:30 at the Ferndale Library.
It is National Family
History Month and also Archive Month.
There is a lot going on.
After a very successful
September meeting where everyone paired up in 2's and 3's, we'll do it
again. Do you have a genealogy problem or do you want to learn
something? Let me know. You can
always email me at judithculv@hotmail.com.
Bring a tip to share.
Margie will do a short demo on using files and folders. Norine has been using archive services. My tip is about using Worldcat and
interlibrary loan. You can use the
projector to demo if that will help.
We have a request to see
ways of “packaging” family info and photos.
If you have books, notebooks, etc., bring them along.
When we break up to do
our work, someone will help with setting up email delivery from the blog,
Margie will help with files and Marlene and I will meet with a small group who
are just getting started.
Do you need help with
genealogy or technical skills? Come prepared with a computing device or
plan to borrow one. And passwords, of course.
Lastly, whoever has the
floating copy of The Foundling, if you are finished, bring that along
too. Thank you.
See you
there!
