Ferndale Genies will be in session this coming Monday the
19th. 1:00 at the Ferndale Library.
Five of us attended the Northwest Genealogy Conference in
Arlington for four days last week. We
came home last night typically exhausted and some will be at the meeting on
Monday. We’ll bring new ideas and old
ideas with a new twist.
Personally, I’m motivated with DNA, research process, story
writing and traditional genealogy tips.
So many speakers mentioned having a well-defined question before you
start researching. And the importance of
keeping a research log was emphasized many times. Where have we heard that before?
The genealogy societies are waking up after a summer
break with announcements of new programming.
We’ll share their plans with you.
